Lovely Lilac Nails - Rimmel London

Happy Sunday everyone!

So I thought I'd share a quick review on this little gem that I've found recently. I'm a serial nail polish hoarder and have been searching forever to find the perfect pale lilac shade that is not too dark. On a quick stop to my local Superdrug, I spotted this cute colour by Rimmel, at £3.69 a pop you can't really go wrong.

I usually go for more high-end nail polishes as they tend to last longer, however Rimmel really have outdone themselves with their 60-seconds nail polish. As the colour is rather light I ended up needing 3 thin coats to get the perfect pale lilac shade I desired- peeeerfect for spring!

 Base-coat: Orly Bonder

Colour polish: Rimmel 60 Seconds in 621- Mary Mary Quite Contrary

Topcoat: Seche Vite

Application: 9/10 - the thick oval brush made application neat and simple as it deposited just the right amount of polish

Longevity: 7/10 - along with my base and top coat it lasted 4 days before chipping

Colour: 10/10 - FINALLY the exact pale lilac I've been searching for!

Price: 9/10 - Cheap and cheerful, the size is pretty small compared to other nail polishes but it's definitely worth the £3.69 price-tag

I've also tried the new Rimmel 60-second polish range by Rita Ora and I'm not sure if it was due to the colour I chose but I found it rather thick to apply and it lasted around 2 days before chipping. What about you, have you tried any of these products?

P.S I swear by Seche Vite, it's an amazing topcoat that dries within minutes without budging or creasing!!
